Reflections and Cows

in viewing my posting i realized how varied my posts are, there is no consistency, and reflective of an ever changing mind- which i actually don't have, anyways, this is not the objective of this post.

in my law and politics class we were learning about cases that have lost their legitimacy to proceed further in the judicial system and have lost their judicial standing, for various reasons, and are thereby called moot cases. And so the prof introduces this with an example of such a case, and said "and this is an example of a moot case", at that point a huge grin wanted to cross my face, as i thought back to a FRIENDS episode where Joey is like "it's moo", and Monica is like "it's moo?", Joey: "yeah, moo, like a cow's opinion, it doesn't matter". (i'm laughing as i am typing this) it was so funny. so in the class the prof keeps saying "this case is moot because", "a case becomes moot when", and "is this case moot?" and everytime he says "moot" i'm thinking to myself "is this case like a cow's opinion?", and "when does this case become a cow's opinion"?- it was so hard to keep back a smile.
