New Setting
so the computer has now been officially moved- into my dad's new office, it'll be odd checking mail and writing stuff in here, but i like change
the house is coming along very nicely, i think the upstairs is officially finished, nothing left to do other than some paint touch-ups, and it looks great, open, airy and fresh, i like the house a lot better now.
meanwhile, school starts tomorrow, since we just got the computer up and running again i just settled my schedule this morning- i was going to have thursday off but i wanted to take this history class on the reformation- i hope it'll be worth the sacrifice.
we had a scavenger hunt at the Night Market yesterday for youth, and then played sardines in the pitch black of the church- for those who don't know what sardines is, it's when one person hides and everyone else tries to find them, and when you do, you hide with them. we have a fairly large church so there's plenty of places to hide, not to mention all the trap doors, crawl spaces, and underground escapes built into the church- people get really creative and it's scary and fun and an awesome way to end the summer.
i've got to put this in- i'm trying to sell some of my old textbooks just because i can't stand to look at some of them anymore, and others, well i'm not going to read them any time soon- their too textbooky- i've got poli sci books, a few english anthologies, a couple of philosophy and 3 latin books i want to burn but am willing to sell- if anyone's interested, please let me know, and i'll give you a great deal.
speaking of which, while the youth searched around Night Market for the answers i did some shopping (i made up the scavenger hunt so i couldn't be a part of it naturally). i tried to baragain with some of the stall owners, but i've been on the receiving end of bargainers, and i know what it feels like- so... after a "so what's the best deal you can give me", i forked over the written price.
praying life will get more interesting when school starts....
