around
as i was walking on campus i caught myself "shoulder-checking" as i crossed the sidewalk or turned a corner.
it's been an exhausting week- i had 2 midterms today (friday) and i spent the days leading up to them studying, playing catch-up on readings, and trying to pay attention in class- one more paper and another midterm and i'll be on my way to studying for finals.
i have to take stats as a requirement- i don't like math, but i like my proff, the material's not over my head... yet- i'm very confused on what position to take regarding my like/dislike of stats.
you know how i'm always ranting about "anticipating the future"?? well i lied- i'm not actually anticipating it, i'm not looking "forward" to it. i just want to take a peak, i want to know what it will look like- if it's good i'll take a step forward and if it's bad... take a step back or hone my cooking skills!- it's this weird sort of feeling- knowing that something's coming, not sure what it is, whether it will be for the good or the bad- and all the while knowing that it's all in God's hands and He'll do something with it, even though i've muddled up so much of it.
my pen exploded today... on my face- in the middle of a midterm... i was embarrased and worried... i didn't have an extra pen.
i'm in love with a backstreet boy- well not in love with him, his new cd, Brian Littrel's "welcome home"- my favourite track is "wish"
sharing life with people you love and ones God has placed in your life is perhaps one of the greatest blessings
i was in such an anxious state last night and i had to read Michael Ondaatje's "running in the family" before i went to sleep- "half a page and the morning is already ancient"
my dad's latest solution to all of the world's problems are: split up the country- trouble in sudan? divide it. rawanda in crisis? split it up. quebec wants to separate? make it a separate country...who ever has problems with living where they are... let them make their own country, or inhabit the northern regions of Canada because no one lives there as of now.
it feels like i'm in a room with four walls and only one exit, but everything in black and i can't find my way out, so i'm looking up for some kind of answer... and that's it, i'm standing there looking up for an answer.
"to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven" (eccl. 3:1)
